Aïda Ndiaye
BIOGRAPHY
Aïda Ndiaye currently oversees policy programs and campaigns in Europe. In her role, she designs policy initiatives to catalyze innovation, boost competitiveness, and unleash the benefits of technology for society. Prior to this role, Aïda headed the society and responsibility pillar in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa policy team. During the Covid-19 pandemic, she led Meta’s programmatic strategy to combat online misinformation. Aïda also managed Meta’s public policy strategy across 22 countries in Francophone Africa. Her campaigns and programmes reached millions of people across the world and enabled institutional partnerships to position social media as a tool for positive change. Before joining Meta, Aïda worked in both the private and NGO sectors, with stints at Dalberg Global Development Advisor, Unesco, IBM, and Google. Aïda holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science from Quest University Canada and a Master of Public Policy (with distinction) from the University of Oxford.
