Courage is a seasoned and accomplished banking and finance executive with over 20 years of expertise across various sectors including asset management, corporate and structured finance, treasury, private banking, and impact investments. With a fervent dedication to advancing digital banking and financial inclusion, Courage has been a champion of innovative solutions to bridge the gaps in access and service, and his leadership prowess is underscored by his commitment to driving transformational change within the industry amidst the evolving landscape of digital financial technology and inclusive finance.

Courage is currently the CEO of Steward Bank, a leading digital bank and part of the Econet Group, which is at the forefront of steering the digital banking revolution within Zimbabwe, in line with the Econet Group vision of a digitally connected future that leaves no-one behind.  An esteemed Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), Courage also holds an MBA with a major in Finance. He also underwent the Senior Executive Leadership Program with Harvard Business School and the University of Pretoria.

Before his current role, Courage was CEO of TN Asset Management, which under his leadership, grew to become the second largest asset management company in Zimbabwe by funds under management, premised on investment strategies that prioritize environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors given the interconnectedness between financial success and societal impact. He currently serves as Chairman of The Institute of Bankers of Zimbabwe, where he has been instrumental in shaping the future of banking excellence underpinned by innovation, collaboration, and measurable positive outcomes.
